Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mothers Day to all! I Hope you have all had a wonderful day and spoilt your mums rotten! I treated my mum and pampered her with a Gelish manicure and pedicure and a haircut and blowdry.

I got married in August last year and my Mum was the perfect Mother of the Bride. When I announced my engagement she was so excited and happy to have as much or as little input as I needed.

I didnt realise how difficult planning a wedding was and sure enough my mum got plenty of phonecalls from me worrying about the small details, whether it be the Bridesmaid’s dresses or which button holes we should go for and she managed to calm me down each time.

I don’t know what I would have done without her. Her creative eye and green fingers put the perfect finishing touches to make my wedding day perfect, and of course I ended up doing her hair and makeup on my wedding day, but she deserved it and I wouldn’t have had it any other way – as you can see from the photo she looks more like my sister!

In other news I had another busy weekend with a Hair trial for another beautiful Bride and her Maid of Honor. They both opted for big curls with some curls pinned back, I can’t post any pictures yet as I wouldnt want to ruin the surprise for the wedding day. Looking forward to a week of filming this week!
